Age lends a certain quality. A certain quality that people often try to replicate in brand new furniture. It’s fascinating to see the TV shows, web articles, and youtube videos that instruct on techniques to try to match the look of this old door. I just stumbled upon this photo again. I had to employ some serious lens distortion and perspective corrections, but I am quite happy with the result.
