Mount Baldy, Eagle River, Alaska

A couple weeks ago, Mel and I landed in Alaska. My good friend was getting married and gave an excellent reason to finally fly up there and visit him. Alaska has been on my bucket list for a long time, so we made a trip of it. We set aside a week and a half to explore, hike, drive (1950+ miles!) and take part in wedding festivities. It was a joy to see the God’s glorious creation with a good friends that I rarely get to see.
A few days into the trip, we decided to hike Mount Baldy. The night before, 3-4 inches of snow fell on the top of the peak. The hike was muddy and then snowy as we climbed. It was a tough climb and a little messy, but the views were well worth it.
