White-Tailed Deer Fawn – Big Meadows – Shenandoah National Park, Virginia

Melissa and I just returned from a trip with my grandparents to Shenandoah National Park. It is a beautiful park that is within a decently short drive from home. On Monday morning, we were treated to a close range encounter with two tiny fawns. Being safe within the bounds of the national park, they were accustomed to humans and let us photograph them.
