Cottonwoods on the Virgin River – Zion National Park, Utah
Posted by Vito Paratore on Saturday, 17 December 2016.
Since we only had the afternoon in Zion National Park, Melissa and I took an abbreviated walk south from Temple of Sinawava to the next shuttle stop. It was a wonderful trail, winding along the Virgin River in the bottom of the canyon, towering red rock cliffs above and cottonwoods all around. I am planning to go back to hike the Narrows or Angel’s landing, but for a couple hours in the park, this was a great time.
