Fall color in Cottonwood Canyon – Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Utah

Another view of the stunning fall colors of the Cottonwoods in Cottonwood Canyon. There were dozens of beautiful, yellow-leafed trees along the dirt road that leads miles into the wilderness. We drove 30 miles on Cottonwood Canyon Road to Grosvenor Arch. Melissa and I were amazed at the array of distinct landscapes. At every turn was rock formations of different colors, shapes, and sizes. It was quite an amazing experience driving through these “alien” landscapes.
