Turkey Swamp Park: Initial Scouting
Posted by Vito Paratore on Friday, 7 December 2007.
On the way home from working a job in Freehold, New Jersey, I stopped in to scout out Turkey Swamp Park. I have passed it many times driving and heard about it from friends, but I had not been there before today. It is a nice park with a decent sized lake. There are two islands in the middle of the lake that add possibilities for landscape photography. The Metedeconk River runs through the park, which could make for an interesting hike. Keep an eye out for trip results from this spot in future blog entries.
