I’ve passed by this particular gate over a dozen times in the last few months. At night, the light from the building illuminates the beautiful white gate which breaks up the old stone wall. Having seen it so many times and even planning on going out to photograph it at some point, it took the Blizzard last weekend to give me the best excuse to go out to seize the opportunity. The fallen and falling snow really hit home the “refuge” and “welcoming” feel.
