Above the Clouds – Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado

Sunrise from the Ute Trail, in high alpine country of Rocky Mountain National Park. This shot was taken from between Trail Ridge Road and Tombstone Ridge. After the alpenglow shots, we climbed up the ridge to try to see the sun rising. This was our view. I wished I had stayed on the sun-side of the ridge!
