Redemption Designs

I just returned from a week long family vacation to Sandy Point, in Kinsale, Virginia. I had never been to the area before, but I loaded up all my camera gear just in case. We rented a lovely house and had a great, relaxing week. I woke up for a few sunrises, but only shot this one (ironically, since the sun never appeared for this one). I shot this one with the camera laying in the sand. Since it was a river beach instead of an ocean beach, the waves were more consistent and I was less worried about a random wave reaching further up and drenching me and my camera.
