Redemption Designs

One of my favorite signs of early spring is the blooming of Forsythia bushes. The early, immediate blast of yellow heralds the coming of warmer temperatures and increased outdoor activities. I haven’t really taken any photos of the plant that I really liked until now, though. Going in really close and keeping the depth of field small, I hoped to keep the composition simple and clean. I kept the rest of the bush behind this bloom, so the background would be comprised mostly of shades of yellow.
