Redemption Designs

After stopping in at the Desert Watchtower and walking some of the Rim Trail near Mather Point with the hundreds of other visitors, Melissa and I hiked out to Shoshone Point. We arrived at the point just as the sun was disappearing, so I didn’t get many photos of that, but we were set up and ready for the main purpose of that trip: the Supermoon rise. We were both frustrated by the crowds everywhere that afternoon, but settling down and enjoying the incredible view from Shoshone Point with just a handful of others was great.
