Japanese Beetle – Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania

Insect macros can be challenging to compose. With the creature’s movement and freedom, you never can be sure where they will be. In this case, this Japanese Beetle was still and in a wonderful spot. I am very pleased with the lines of the leaves and the placement of the beetle.
